The Clark Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation established in 1996 to support informal science education and promote science literacy in Utah.

The foundation supports innovative programs that involve Utah schools, teachers, students and their families. We believe that science is best taught as a hands-on, inquiry-based activity. We believe that science education should involve more than giving students facts to memorize - it should include activities that present interesting questions to be answered. Through solving problems in the search for answers to questions, valuable insights into the process of science are achieved.

Our mission is to increase Utahns' appreciation of science as an integral part of daily life, rather than view it as an esoteric specialty unrelated to their post-school lives.

We are not accepting new proposals for the current grant cycle.

We hope you enjoy visiting our site.
